WELCOME to our collection of fine antique clocks. We are located in Ojai, CA, a beautiful tiny town nestled in the orange groves east of bustling Ventura and lovely Santa Barbara. Antique clocks are sent to us from all over the world for restoration and repair. We have been restoring clocks for over thirty years. We are members of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors and have attended its School of Horology. We are also members of the American Watch and Clock Museum. All restorations are done on our premises. There are several schools of thought regarding antique clock restoration which are presented in detail on our policy page. All the clocks you see on this page are part of our extensive collection.

We perform mechanical services, overhauls, specialized repairs, varied mechanical adjustments, dial resilvering, dial repainting, case cleaning and waxing, brass polishing, reverse painting, and regilding. No harsh solvents are ever used. You will also find our price guide for various restoration services on our policy page.*

We invite you to browse through our web pages to view the clocks presently for sale. Our prices are based on the most recent sale price at antique clock auctions and antique clock shows of the same clock in similar condition and are subject to change to reflect the current market value fluctuation either up or down. We offer only genuine antique clocks that are in pristine condition and mechanically sound. Whether the clock is an English museum piece that was made for royalty or a simple German box clock recently acquired at auction, each clock will receive the same respect and care. We pride ourselves on quality workmanship and fair market prices.

These two wall clocks represent the opposites that can be found in antique clock collecting. The English Tavern clock on the left has a simple case and mechanism with a huge dial as its job was to show accurate time from anywhere in a busy pub. The German vienna regulator, on the other hand, has a complexity of case and mechanism with delicate handcarvings and engraved brass everywhere and an intricate strike of both quarter hours and hours which decorated the walls of the finest homes.

All these clocks are French and were made from 1830-1890. The French wanted their clocks to be works of art...beauty before function. They were, however, outstanding at both.

The clocks in the above two photos are all American and made between 1840 and 1915. The Americans did not have the resources of the French or English, but did a spectacular job in their effort to allow every home to own a clock.

These clocks are just a small example of the change in style from 1920-1935 to the art deco age of strength and simplicity.
